406,

I tried to line something up with the previous owner of you car, but nothing came of it.

My motor size is obvious (see sig). I have tuning that I need to get done as I get the time and money after the holidays. But I definitely want to give that car a run, motor to motor, after I get my tuning figured out.

I am on the other side of town (Chandler), but we can definitely meet somewhere in between in January.

I only race from a dead dig, so bring your drag radials!

I found my 85Z28 in Phoenix for 1k. Guy and his wife wanted 2200 for it. I talked him down. Orignally had TPI and I drove it home over the mountains to Prescott without a hitch. They were moving back to Minnesota or something and needed the money...keep looking, you can find them.

Its all about being in the right place/ right time. The guy I bought it from didn't want it in front of his house anymore. The car was his son's, who bought an '05 Rustang GT to replace the 'bird. The dealership offered 'em $500 trade in, so that is what they sold it for.

It'd be easier to add a TC to it, like the 89 TTA.

Oh my gosh...I'm sorry...LOL. you must be one of those guys that walks around with a sign on his back that says kick me... It's all about timing and doing research. I just bought a ford taurus sedan 2 months ago from a guy who was taking it to the junkyard. Needed heads shaved and gaskets. Paid 50 bucks for it and sold it for 2400. Nice little car for a ford. Money will pay for my ford 9 inch rear I am building and some new suspension upgrades.

I WAS one of those guys... now ive taken my lashings and two years later, ive accepted my mistake, and turned it into what it is today... a black paperweight with four wheels and a removable top... lol... nah, i love my car... with the gross $12,000 ive put into it, it should be running 12's and look as good as it runs... but high 15's and stock paint is good enough for me.. lol
