oh **** i might be getting a job soon too, i got an interview at the movie theater up by costcos on mcdowell. Look for a new and improved Iroc near you. Oh btw my car is white with a black hood ill look out for you guys when im out cruisin. Any of you guys go to UTI? Im on my 4th phase, advanced electronics in the morning classes.

i'm in az too. queen creek....ironwood & ocotillo. about 15 miles south of the 60 on ironwood. oh and i got a new job too, on the 101 and Frank lloyd wright. i drive 115 miles to and from work everyday.

im in avondale, i love in Aventura Apartments on McDowell RD, just between 107th and 103rd, i got to UTI in the mornings and im thinking of buying another 3rd gen, or shipping my 87 formula down here from washington, its a 5sp, t-tops car, needs a motor/trans,.

The craziest thing is I work all over the West Valley and drove my car (R.I.P.) all over that place. I'm sure I've seen a few of you around; got a few waves here and there. I'm going to miss the 3rd Gen brotherhood. It had an awesome feeling to it.

Sorry, you'll have to hate me . It runs perfect, got it from the original owner. Very well maintained, mostly new Moog front end, nearly new Yoko's & brakes.

 

I got mine for $500 too... still hate me Bruce? when you going to come get that hood and/or rear end?

yea.. lol. he said it was a ghost flame gone horribly wrong. haha! i didnt care,ill b sanding the car and getting it ready 4 paint anyway. the car came with alot of stuff, or lack of. car si mostly gutted, has 15x10 cragars w/ 11.5x26 ET's, nice corbeau racing seats, all the nitrous stuff (except a remote bottle opener). he said he didnt have any of the other jets and that his michanic has them. said he ran the car back in november, still has traction issues, but ran a 12.0@124 and only had the 150 shot in.

 

yeah i know that guy,thats aziroc,i painted that for him one day,we got bored so he asked me to do it, we added a ton of the pearl cause he told me to,lol,and it came out like crap,it was one of those spur of the moment things, the car has a ton of power,but has trouble hooking up.

 

yea, he said he had someone paint it a few times and said he wanted 2 try pearl flames... lol. yea, this thing is a pain 2 drive sometimes. 1st gear is damn near pointless. well, if i go anywhere past 1/4 throttle. anything more and the rear tires just smoke. i raced some ***** guy on dysart.. **** had the jump on me( it was like i went WOT, but stood steal) but i let off soem and it hooked and the thing just took off like a rocket, passed the racer like he was standign steal. :lala: but he must have done something 2 the tranny too cause most 3rd gens with the 700r4 wont go past like 120'ish.. his 3rd gear goes to 130'ish@6200 rpms then shifts into 4th gear @ 2500rpms. im not going 2 try 2 top out the car anythime soon though. haha. only "issue" he said he had was the cars battery liked 2 drain. he wasnt sure if it was cause he only drove it like 2 times a month or if there was a power drainm so i guess ill find out sooner or later.

 

yup,he had the trans build by the shop taht did all the work, ive got pics at home on my compter of its paint processes,lol, we played with that thing alot... if u ever need help w/ anything lemme know
