We just had one back in May. Several people committed, but most didn't show. Could have been better. Hopefully this one will turn out well...

 

I believe the car should be ready atleast driveable by then....if not ill show up anyways to check out every1's rides....i'll keep any eye on the thread

Let me clarify what I said....it was a good time. More people were expected however. Both times I scheduled a BBQ at Lake Pleasant turned out really well in my opinion.

Hey I haven't heard from you since before I got my motor fixxed. I heard you were going to sell it. Then 2 months ago I see your old Formula with some brunette driving it around Chris's area.

And you now have an SS Camaro? You got to swing by my house and show it off to me.

 

Yeah im alive I have been doing a ton of traveling. I sold my old baby to a very nice lady, she lives in Tempe. I think i sold her around May... been so long lol. But yeah i just purchased a 2000 SS on saturday. Been awhile since i have been by your house, not sure if i remember how to get there. But im usually not doing much during the week nights if your free.

But we should now aim for late October for a get together. We can meet at my house if that's cool with everyone. And we can either head over to that little car spot at Guad and Dobson and eat across the street at Teriyaki Kitchen ( it's a good place, they don't cook up goat) or that newer place Scouts Burgers I hear is good too.

 

i will keep an eye on the thread, i'm still interested in meeting up! car is still out of commission, i painted the rims, got new tires, installed shocks and struts, swaybars and busings but i am working on the A/C and a weird tick. Should be ready by end of october if it isnt the motor.

 

Yeah man that sounds like a good plan. I think those guys meet up on fridays if i remember right. I heard that burger place isnt the greatest, but they have good ice cream. Even if its a few of us thats cool, i will be out of the country from the 6th to the 14th but im game any time after that.

 

So it's not that good huh? Bummer.

 

Well my dad went there and had a burger, but he told me that it wasnt all that great for the price that it was. But I also heard they have good ice cream soooooo maybe we could have some desert there lol.

 

Alright so we need to get something going here guys Im going to try and figure out if that small car show on dob and guad is on Friday night, if so Im going to head out there.

Figure prob around 6pm or so, im not sure what time they start. Last time I went by was in Sept and dark and they were still there so it might last till aruond 7-8pm

 

Alright so I went to this small car gathering about 2-3 months ago and there was maybe 10-15 cars. Last night I showed up around 6:30pm and there was at least 30 cars, with some cars leaving and some just showing up and a ton of people parking and walking around. There was only 1 3rd gen there, red t-top looked to be a 305TBI auto, not sure if someone on here or not. Anywho, not to sure how many east siders are on here but these guys are there every friday and show up around 5pm. Its kinda like a mini pavilions for people too lasy to drive there I will try and show up next friday around 5pm if anyone wants to meet up chime in

 

I will try to come by, problems just keep coming up w/ the ride, i just had to replace the heater core b/c it dumped about two containers of anti freeze onto my carpet, now i believe my battery went, i gotta get it checked out. But i still havent checked out either car show site so i will probably swing by w/ or w/out the car. Ill look for the third gens!
