anyone know of ny good junkyards around the mesa/gilbert area where i could get some misc parts? mostly interior stuff.

 

What parts are you looking for exactly? The pick-a-part in Mesa is decent.

 

im looking for the switch for under the headlight puller ****, and i probably need a new dash cover. Then the peice of plastic for the rear hatch, just above the back seats.

 

U PULL IT on Broadway & 30 something Ave usually has a pretty good selection; Ecology on 27th Ave S. of VanBuren is OK (CamarosFirebirds are way in the back). I would avoid Glendale Wrecking on West Orangewood too much $; they wanted $25 for a charcoal canister that was dirty & filter was tore up, I got one from Ecology in very good condition for $8.

Would you let us know where you go & if it's worth checking out?

 

I have been going to Pick-a Part on 56th streed and Chandler. Got a few good parts (some rare in a yard to be in good shape). The Firebirds and Camaros are pretty much at the beginning. They also have a 1/2 off sale every wednesday. I found Ecology nitpicks on everything you have. How could you charge for a core on a pulley? Some of the things they do are wtf. Anyway, if anyone needs some parts for engine, let me know. I'm in the middle of changing my car from carb to tpi. Have a lot of good parts left over.

 

i hit a-z recyclers if it was an older car, not sure if they would have your year there but its worth a shot... sry cant remember where they are but its out in phx on like broadway and something...lol or reeves auto is another good one... also i have that part not being used right now not sure if the 86 would fit that section but i think i know the piece your talking about...
