i saw the ad before he changed it and it said the engine was just rebuilt but the tranny was making a clunking noise and he didnt have the money to fix it, still not a bad deal, i would buy it if i didnt have all my money tied up into buying a house... stupid me

 

I coulda gotten a 95 hardtop with engine knock for $500. I might even still be able to. And engine knock seems to be cheaper to fix than a tranny rebuild.

 

well i emailed him and he did say the engine was recently rebuilt but the tranny was making a knocking noise.. he did say the tranny shift into every gear and smooth as he uses it as a daily driver. hes just in debt that he needs extra cash.. from the picture it looks like it needs some body work and paint.. but not bad for z28 which says it has a lt1.

Sounds like the infamous 10 dollar rear tranny mount. If I were closer I would scoop it up quick.
