Speedworld is about 3 miles southwest of the loop 303 on grand ave. If you look at the post for the midnight run tour you will see a map with directions... Its where they filmed a bunch of episodes of "PINKS". I live about 2 miles from it, so It is going to be convenient for me. LOL Its a nice place, way better than firebird...

 

is there an admission fee? and when are they open?

I am 39 and have just purchased a 1989 Firebird Formula 350 all original for my 14 year old son to start learning to work and drive. I have a few smog troubles but I am working on it. No air injection tubes.

I would meet up with you guys and drive to Speedworld, but its right next to where I live so....

azfirebird; I think autozone sells the AIR tubes new online for like 30.oo or so... I just did all of that.... Not fun....

if you come down the 10 to like 91st ave exit then go north to northern you will see a autozone it is behind that there is a huge gathering of lots of nice cars...

starts at 6 till about 8-9

Hey on this friday we should all lets go to the car show this fri....

 

Does anyone go to pavillions in scottsdale on Sat. nights? Or another one is 83rd ave. and Deer Valley at the Safeway parking lot. I will cruise out to the autozone this Friday to check it out. I have a White 92 RS. I will also be at the speedworld deal on the 20th. I race motocross out there.

 

LOL, check out some of the old threads on here.... I, personally dont go to the pavillions anymore, but some of the other guys do. I have been going to 91st and northern for about a year now and have seen it grow a lot. I dont usually go to the show on sat at 83rd and union hills. I just dont usually have that kind of time....

Well i guess ill throw up some pics, these are just my car, the one where ive got the busted foot is the day i bought it lol. I just cleaned up that flowmaster i parted off of that iroc, i just got the blue leds all soldered up on the cluster from it too lol. Just ordered the brake calipers for my rear axle, gonna be ordering an eaton posi unit sooner or later i just dont wanna part with that kinda cash but i know when i do ill love the thing lol got the gas door off that iroc sanded down, btw it was blue originally lol Overall i have the parts together and im just waiting to get the energy to install them lol OH! and im buying an aldl cable and tunerpro rt cuz im trying to learn datalogging lol plus once i get it down my buddy wants his fiero tuned. Gonna put in a WB02 sensor after i get the rear done kinda gotta stick with one project at a time but its going

eh im just gonna buy the cable and the tunerpro for now, i want to delve into emulation rather than burning because i know my patience level lol once i get set into college and work it should help free up some time but i dont wanna watch my paychecks dwindle just yet lol. Ive decided the rear i have is gonna be the one i use, just gonna baby it til i buy that eaton posi lol just ordered the brake calipers yesterday and theyre on their way here. so i think the steering column is gonna be what ill need ill just buy a vats bypass instead of turning it off in the ecm so when i do a motor swap it wont be a hassle i wish i could make it to the meet but like i said my schedule is all messed up lol middle of september will be when i get my camaro back on the road

90 Iroc 350 TPI that has been sitting collecting cobwebs for 2 years.
Needs a tranny and a rear end rebuild (among other minor things), but I am pretty much done with it.

Anyone want to buy it? :P

 

I want to see some more third gens at speedworld...

I have a 92 Z28

350 tpi superchiped with mostly suspension work done right now 3:73's with 315's in the back, exhaust, and shift kit.

in the next couple of months it will be a 383 stroker with a 200 shot

 

I may be out there on the 20 with my 90 iroc L98
