trans shop needed
can anyone recommend a good trans shop to diagnois a TCC lock up problem in Mesa or the east valley? Looking for an honest shop.

I know the best shop in the valley. Performance trans. They are at grand ave and northern though. Thats a little far from you, but I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else. Their prices are awesome too. If everything else is working, but the tc isnt locking up, I think you might be looking at a wiring problem or a ecm issue. Have you tried grounding the tc/lockup wire?

trail transmission isn't bad, there off of main street in mesa, a little pricy but they usually have most parts on hand

Gary at AZ Precision Transmission, I've used him for 20 years, his number is 480-644-1100, does an honest job, not the cheapest, but it is rightly built, he has built numerous transmissions for me including a monster one for my grand national and also for my hauling F-350...does a good job at diagnosing the lock up convertor issues, tell him Dr. Dan sent ya.
