Looking for a project camaro! In Phoenix!

Hey! I am need of some assistance locating a 85-92 Camaro for a project me and my friend want to start. Really want to avoid SC's. Nothing against them, its just not the style we want. Price range is going to be $500 or so, and I'm not looking for anything pretty here. We plan on stripping her down and auto-crossing the car. Running or not! Let us know what you have! Or if you know someone, that knows somebody! Haha!

Thanks!

Kyle

I used to autocross. You going SCCA or NASA? My IROC was built with autocrossing in mind. (Still got a few things to do before it's "Ready", like SFC's.)

We were looking at NASA, so we could eventually work our way right into wheel to wheel racing. That and our main goal is to get into the CMC series. But that would require alot of travel, and we aren't ready for that just yet. So we want to get our feet wet locally first. We Just need to find ourselves a good car, and let the good times roll! I'll keep you posted on our progress!

Ah, sounds like fun. I have been debating NASA for a while, but getting the racing license can be expensive! (Unless you have a friend who is a licensed instructor, which I dont.)

Yeah, but its something we will plan for. We are going to sit down and work out all the small details, expenses, lay out what we want to do to the car, etc. That and read through the rule books with a fine tooth comb as to what we can actually do to the car. Either way we are stoked! I might have a line on a 91 RS! We will see what happens!

I have a 90 Iroc that would be perfect. Needs some work, but $700 and it's yours.
