Unofficial emissions test
Just got done doing a ton of work to the car (New injectors, intake manifold gaskets, distributor cap/rotor, wires, new vaccuum hosing, spark plugs, etc etc). I am curious if I can run the car through an emissions station "just to see". I am not due for an official test until November/December but I want to make sure it is good now. Will they do that and not report it if it fails??

No one knows if they will report it.
It's not a big deal if they do report it. It shows up, but it also shows up when you later pass.

If your concerned about it, try going to one of the mechanic shops around town that do testing. Call them and see if they have to report it or not. I know Fletchers does emissions testing, not sure of the cost but its an option instead of waiting in line at any of our understaffed and overcrowded stations.
