My first "Tech Article"...

I had sent this off to Dirk at ThirdGen.org a while back and never got a response. It is a slight revision of the instruction sheet I include with the Flip Rods. It had long slipped from my mind that I had even sent it in. Today I got an inquiry from someone for price and availability of the rods and any other convertible parts I sell. Then I also got an e-mail to my personal e-mail address that he had contacted top-down solutions about the rods. Tonight I settle in to watch the LBGP on tape and get a call on the business line. I asked how he heard about the Flip Rods and made sure he understood what they were and that he indeed needs them (yes to both). Another set sold. I just checked and indeed the Tech article I created was there. I was just surprised, not that it got used, but that Dirk or whoever put it up on the Board never e-mailed me back. But bottom line, I'm a Happy Camper. Lon

True entepreneur.....

Lon,

You are a true entrepreneur! I come by your place to get some help fixing my broken top and next thing you know you've got a new product on the market. :hail: Good job! Hope you sell a ton of them and your other fine TDS products.

Best of Luck,
Bruce

Yeah, you and Randy were both the inspiration for some of my products (Nylon Guides & Flip Rods). I especially enjoy filling these undiscovered or neglected niches.
