Interesting discovery....
It appears 1982 model year cars have either one or two brackets with a straight bolt mount pattern rather than the offset pattern I have previously only seen. On the cars that have only one straight pattern bracket the other is the offset bracket used on the 83-92 models. This will cause me to have to offer 2 versions (or 3) of my greasable front sway bar bushing kits when released. More disconcerting, I'll have to revise my Steering Brace mount pad design if I want it to accommodate the 82 model year. If the design changes it won’t happen until the first production run is completed. I'd like to narrow it down to a vin number that the change was made after if possible. I copied down the vin of the 2 1982 models I found with straight patern only brackets. I forgot to go back and get the vin for the half-n-half one. When I get a chance I'll check my 82-91 Parts & Illustration Catalog and see if it can shed some light on the subject. Lon
