well, what should i expect for a good paint job?

 

I think you should be able to get a good paint job for that amount. If you just need paint and plan to strip the car down and the body is good I dont see how you can't get a good paint job for that amount. I've seen really good paint job for about that amount. Some people will spend a lot of money for a paint job and thats fine if you can afford it, but if you can get a good quote from a reputable place then go for it, just look at some of their work and talk to a lot of people. I dont know of a good place but like I said I've seen some really good paint jobs on some cars for even less than that.

on the business card I thought it was tas hehe. JASS auto body and paint, any make model. color match. Free estimates, quality work at reasonable prices. His name is Armando, cell is 714-469-6364. pager 714-804-1290 address is 2433 S Broadway, Santa Ana ca 92707, if you can't get a hold of him what would be best is to go over there and ask for him. b/c he is a very busy shop. you will see the cars he has done there. he specializes in the custom paint jobs also, I was amazed how good he is, a friend of mine referred me to him, he fixed a small dent in my car for a very good price, he even polished out my whole car. So look at some of his work and tell him, I want my paint job to look just like this car here say, with the color you want, and be firm with him that you want a good paint job, and he will explain every thing to you.

There is also Pete Santini in westminster but his prices are sky high, on my flamed Camaro when the tow company hit from unloading it, his estimate was like 1,200 bucks and that was not even going to be to redo the whole fender, just the spot that had damage, and i ended taking the tow company to court and lost, i was so pissed.

And if you are really serious and want to save a few more thousand and get a show quality custom paint job I would refer you to Superior Auto Body out of Fresno CA.
