So, you are doing mine when I get a T56? Actually, I might follow Don foot steps. That is excellent that you got it to work. Did you do some epoxy (or JB Weld) work on it, kinda looks like it.

yeah, JB weld. I was used to other epoxies that didn't take as long to stiffen up so it got a little messy. If I had to do it again I would have done a few things different for better results. It looks good but I sprayed/drowned it with paint to cover all the epoxy to help seal it all in. I was more concerned about function then how it looks.

the machining cost me $80 BTW.

not a good idea

In a few years that jb weld is going to crack and you will have a hell of an oil leak. I am speaking from experience.

In a few year I might have wrapped my car around a pole. Seriously, the heat cycling isn't good for tha epoxy but I'm more concerned with the actual gear not meshing correctly for long term durability. I have talked to a person on this board who had had it for 5+ years with no problems.
