Any recommendations for shops in the San Diego area?

I just got my Firebird painted by an ex Earl Scheib shop in Van Nuys, on Van Nuys Blvd just south about a mile from the old GM plant where 3rd Gens meet up from time to time. I say ex Earl S because nationally they all shut down about a year ago and are now independently owned and operated. I got a heck of a deal: paint and body work out the door for $600. I was quoted on the same street over $750 for Maaco and over $1100 from 1 day paint and body niether of them would even touch the passenger side front fender ground effects damage that a lot of these cars get.

Carlos at the ex Earl Scheib did lots of extra body work including fiberglassing the ground fx to look brand new. See two pix

He may charge more for other people but I told him I would spread the word about his good work. So anyone thinking of a paint job, that doesn't have deep pockets, give Carlos a call first. Just to let you all know.. Gene an Slics Business hours are after lunch most the time. So I would not show up early in the morning unless you contacted one of them about a serious morning visit. I say always before you go there get in touch with them. So they can arrange time to speak with you.

I had them do a bench build for my 700r4, I ordered all the parts myself. Great work, trans go Sk works perfect built for 700hp.. Average cost Bench build.
You can order and build your trans far more better than Pro Built by ordering all your parts and hard parts yourself. Unsure of cost Vs. Pro Built. I have not seen there site for some time.. This is mostly to show it being in the top 10 best transmission shops in Orange County. They also do free engine code scans. So if you need your model scanned they do it for free, they just need to be not busy.

Are any of the listed shops good at Firebird/TA wiring? For example I have manual windows and want to install power windows(have them with wiring). Also, have everything to add power locks, keyless entry(4th gen kit), and trunk release. I just need to get it all installed.
