De-Briefing (J'Yard run)
Should have posted sooner, but ...
Well, we had a great time that day. Although I was not able to get what I went for, I did score two grilles in great condition for my Z28, some interior screws, and some (carb) choke stuff for my Father's L48 ('78 'Vette).
Lunch was great (thanks again George and Lisa for the hospitality or patience of
). Those that didn't go missed out on some BEEFY burgers.
We'll have to do this again.
Anyone else want to respond with their findings? I know Don L. picked a couple cars "clean".

Well,
I know that Mike had a nice nap!!! Ha!! I found a few small peices that I'll keep as spares for the 20th TTA, in case! Also, some stuff to resell!
It was great to chat with Don! Too bad him and Kevin didn't have more time to stay! I think Don would have loved to see some more of my "real" Pontiac parts!! HeHe! They didn't even get the tour! Well, maybe next time!! I guess Don will be busy putting all those parts he got into all the cars!!!
After everybody left, George and me went back to the other yard, and did a rush "tour". We only had like 25 minutes!! We did see a TPI set up all torn apart, sitting on the ground! All I got was a grille for a '82-'83 TA there!
Boy, the whole day, and only 1 yard! Granted, George and me hit the second yard, but there was alot more yards to see!! Well, maybe next time!
It was great to meet Mike, and to have you all over!! I don't know if my neighbors liked it, but who cares??? Ha!!
Great seeing you all, and chatting throughout the day,
George
