I need an AFPR!
Anybody got an AFPR for sale?
My vaccum nipple broke off and I need a new one.
I'm considering making my stock none adjustable regulator adjustable. Has anybody ever done this with good results? I remember Mauro did it but I think he eventually bought a new one.

Thanks Don,
Did you get a replacement diaphram or use the old stock one?
I looked in this boards tech articles for the how to make an AFPR but it's gone. I think I have a hard copy printed at home though.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought all you had to do was take the stock one, drill and tap for a screw and use all the existing other stuff like diaphram, spring and "quarter sized" piece of metal that looks like a video token. I've only installed one before and it's been a long time since then so I'm a liitle rusty on what the stock one has.

How about a little JB Weld around the nipple and you should be good as new.....? I have an extra TPIS regulator, but would like to hold on to it. Actually, I gave Jeff an extra one a while back, I think it was a Crane unit.

I just used the old stock one, it was still good.
Here is the tech article:http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox/tips/afpr/afpr.htm
Skip the part about a steel ball and use the "quarter size plate"
thing.

The GM parts dealer just told me you can't get a diaphram by itself. You have to purchase the whole cap for $125.
Where can I get a diaphram?
