Flyers and Business cards

Bret, you have a "good connection" to get these done right? I'd like to ask the member base to come up with flyer and business card layout ideas. We will decide (or should I say vote) on the best design on our next meeting. Do we have a logo Bret? Info to include should be:

Business card:
Name of the club
Member base location (from Paso Robles to San Diego and anything in between)
Maybe a Firebird and a Camaro
Website address (we need a generic email on this)
A spot to write down your (the one handing out the card) name
A spot to write down your email address
Brief of what we do, who we are.

Flyer:
Same as the business card
Maybe more in depth info
section for upcoming (secure) event(s)

Suggestions always appreciated!

Car: Yes...
Engine: Last time I checked...
Transmission: See "Engine"...
George,
YES, we have a logo. I need to do a little tweaking on it and then apply color. As for getting them printed I have various sources (since I am an Art Director for a living), so that's not a problem.

Business Cards
I'm not too sure about about having "fill in the blanks" info. on the front. Members can easily write down their contact info. on the back so I would encourage that. I also think we should streamline the info. that appears on the front. It should be clean, simple and communicate quickly. Detailing every city we include could be a bit much. I think "Southern California" pretty much covers it.

Here's what I suggest:
1) Logo
2) Club name spelled out
3) Web site URL
4) A brief tagline defining the purpose of the club.

Again, individual members can write down their personal contact info. on the back.

Since my work load is light this week, I may be able to finish the logo and put together a b-card design at the office.

Flyers
This is somewhat of a "no-brainer". Anyone can put together a layout then make it available for members to download and print on a laser printer .

Glad I don't do this for a living, I suck at it. Very good suggestions Bret.
