I have heared of two school that would help me achive my dream. UTI here in Cali which would be great because it close to home. I prefer UTI. They have a great program that works with several big name car companies that aloow you to train on repairing the particualr vehicle of the car brand that sponsors you. Plus at graduation you get a bunch of tools. The UTI campus also isn't too far away.

My younger brother is currently attending UTI in Rancho Cucamonga, He seems to enjoy it. I think its like a 13 month course and they break it down into 3 week sections, (basic engines, elcectrical, braking systems, transmissions etc.. and I guess the last 8 weeks is the Hot Rod section " Always save the best for last" Where you get to learn about building race engines, super charging, Nitrous how to use a chasis dyno and engine dyno.
After the 13 months is finished and you graduate I guess they have some kind of job placement with automotive dealers and MFGS, then you have to take another 1 month class just dedicated to that particular Manufacturer, kinda like graduate school. I guess it costs in the range of $20,000+ but they have financing and if you get hooked up with a dealer or manufacturer I've heard that they kick down some $$$ for your education.
