A few posts down, there was a pretty good discussion about torque arm length by Don, Bret, Dean, Jerry and others.

Let me say this, that particular discussion/debate offered some good insight about the purpose of the torque arm and how the length of the arm can change the fundamental performance characteristics of the car's suspension.

Keep it up guys, I think I'm actually learning something!
