Mike and James need to turn on a fan backwards to suck some of the smoke out of their asses from all of the smack talk. Both of them will bow down to me and that's a fact

The candy cane is waiting for someone to slip up.

1) BRING YOUR SLICKS - ie no more stories about how you could get an awesome 60' it's just your 'Pep Boys' tires slowing you down
2) Fix your clutch!

FACT: The truth is he still gets the same 2.0 60' whether he has slicks, ET streets, or cheap tires. So it doesn't matter what tires he has because his launch and 60' times are the same regardless.
FACT: Vincent has a set of ET Streets. So why doesn't he run them at the track??? Especially when he has failed to meet or beat the blue bunny results.

That's why I stated for him to bring them, I've seen his set of slicks on his Z28 at least once
Just making sure he preps them for the show

Vincent doesnt run his slicks because he's still using a stock T5. Maybe by Randy's September deadline we'll all be ready. Then again, that'll be enough time for us to break something again.

If we need any follow through on anything or any of my suggestions sound decent then either ping me with a PM, email, or call and let me know what I should organize.

What a nice birthday present it would be to have my baby running some 12's.

Getting 12's here in CA in a full interior car, with smog legal parts, and with NAWSSSS is a lot harder than you read about on the internet.

My car is now daily driven, full interior, Nitto tires ( no more slicks at the track or on the street ) and the Nitrous has been removed. The next meeting at the track I will have a super ram on a small block just like most of you guys
so please tell my any other rules you have for this.Jerry

C'mon Jerry you have extensive mods to reduce the weight of your vehicle. All the other cars have little to no weight reduction.
Rules:
must have...
* Stock k-member
* Steel hood, unless you have the fiberglass x-fire hood
* cast iron engine block
* vehicle must weigh more than 3300 lb w/out driver
* manual gearbox
how about them rules
Honestly, even if you made the same power +/-30 HP as the rest of us, if we weren't done in by your 60' time, your weight advantage definately would leave us behind. Nothing quite leaves the gate like a high stall auto.

Mike get's consistent 1.8s on my tires that I usually get 2.0s, and I rarely get anything related to mikes times. I light up my ET Streets just like everybody else.

How about Red Vs. Blue for a small contest? We can have the red camaro's vs. the blue camaro's and put an end to see what color car is faster
And then a Black vs. White.

If the Grand Prix had a 28 to 3000 stall converter in it, he would have been singing a different tune

Vincent couldn't 60' to save his life. At one track event Mike bet him $20 he couldn't cut under a 2.0 60'. After he sweated a couple pounds of fluid hi managed to squeaked by with a 1.998 or seomthing. Yessiree, our boy Vince sure was proud that day

You can race too. Maybe Mike will bring the 14.3 second RedRocket for you to chew up on and spit out

Maybe That dude with the fuscia-colored camaro (Danny P. ???) and Russ's purple bird can go at it. I'm not sure what would be more painful to watch....the cars or the race

Thanks ladies and gentleman, I'll be here all week and don't forget to tip the waitress...

Since Jerry has an auto he'd be good for you to learn from. Since I have a manual trans Mike or Don would be one to learn from. Mike being a pal of mine wouldn't be a problem for me but at lessons costing $400 minimum and only getting 3-4 runs it's financially prohibitive for me. Not that Mike charges $400 for the lessons, it's just that's what it ends up costing in broken parts

Vincent's ET streets did not improve my 60fts at all.
Grand Prix rear suspension is not set up for any kind of performance. In fact, we have discovered that the stock suspension alignments actually lifts the rear end off the ground instead of pushing down.
The GNX on the other hand has a totally diff rear end assy.
But more to the point, correct geometery or not the ET streets did not improve my runs over the street tires.
As far as knowing how to launch, give me five runs with any car and I bet I can come within 5% of the owners times.
