How come we're using this board more than our new board at http://www.sc3g.org/garage/ ?? We bought and paid for the space so lets use the new stuff and save this board as a backup.

The SC3G board is slow, uninteresting, and doesn't allow attachments. I also hate that a the actual real estate for the message is only a fraction of the page width. Those are my pet peeves. They site was setup for somebody with a 640x480 resolution monitor.

Have you relayed any of this to Frank? He might be able to make some adjustments.

It's your site. I'm just afraid to put up a large .jpg file over there and make the TI-36X based server crash. Last edited by james_85Z28; Apr 15, 2004 at 10:50 PM.

I'd think Frank would just need to see if he can tweak the template. That would eliminate the the 2" border on each side of the frame.

I sent this thread to Frank and he is looking at the site.
By the way, our server is now in Northern California. Nick moved it after the last problem and power outtage.

Take a look at www.immortalscarclub.com
It looks like the same or very similar web software. The message board window is set to a more normal wide setting. Allowing pictures would help too.

Yeah, I would think it's no big deal to adjust the window size so it's not so narrow.
As far as posting pictures, what exactly is the problem? I've posted pictures to the board with no trouble.

Bret, you can attach a picture to a post on this board, but not on the SC3G board. That is what people are asking for. Not everyone has a server they can put a file on and then use the IMG tags to link to it.

Ahhhh, that's very different. I've always used the HTML tags so that's what I'm used to.
