If i were to buy tires over the internet, what place should i go to to have them installed and what price should i be looking at. Also, is there a better way to personally dispose your own tires, rather than pay the 10 dollar for 4 tires disposal fee? Any other info would be nice...

Any tire shop will mount/balance them for you. I'm not sure about pricing though. I'll guess and say $25 each?

As far as disposing of old tires, you'll probably have to go to a hazerdous waste collection center. The city often has these events going on. Check online for dates and locations. They are FREE.

The quarterly Household Hazardous Waste Roundups do NOT accept tires, nor do the permanent HW collection centers located around the county. Unless you own a tugboat or know a friend who does, you're probably better off just paying the $2.50 per tire and not having to deal with it.

I'll take the old tires off your hands- I have a soon to be teeenaged driver and need to mount the tires to the fenders like a tug boat (joke)

I have bought several sets of tires from TireRack, however, I have never used one of their recommended installers (Had them shipped directly to my hous). I have an acquintance (Jon) who owns Accurate Alignment that installs them for me but for the record- he only does it because we are friends. He will not mount tires for customers that he does not sell the actuall tire, too much liability on damaging rims for the trouble- sorry.

I have had pretty much everything mounted at Big-O, mostly because everytime I pay them a visit I usually get a coupon for $10 off. I am not sure what size Rims you have but the cost does usually change depending on the size. Larger rims usually cost more and the larger the rim the more the price increase. Also I have been able to dispose of my tires from both Truck and Car once using Burrtec Waste when they picked it up along with the trash, and the mailer I received from the waste disposal center indicated that they would accept tires but only one set per household.
