You have an original Austin Mini? Now I see why you're so much into the handling thing... those things handle like nobody's business.

Without the Camaro in there, you could probably do small lap circles in the garage with that thing.
Did you get rid of the Vette for the Mini Cooper?

One of my Xmas presents to myself is wheel dollies for it so I can spin it around in circles in the garage while I am working on it.
The Vette is a small block 327. I got it out of here about 3 years ago and its in storage in the family workshop in LaHabra. Long story made short- Family BS and strings attached- I just dont drive it anymore due to BS with my father (it was his originally. Car was so called "given" to me 15 years ago and the BS still arises when I'm not the perfect son an go places with him). I only have a two car garage. The El Camino also sits over at my inlaws house in their RV port.
I basically put the Vette back into his name and had formal paperwork notorized "in case of death or incapacitation it be returned to me" I have about 20,000 into it myself from when racing it.
He's been getting it out to events fairly often lately and trying to get me to show up and drive it. We are meeting for dinner Sunday evening, he wants to talk to me about running it again next year at autoX but I could give a crap- autox is boring and I don't have the funds to road race that car (and accidently bend it). Hence why I bought and am modifying the Mini- its much cheaper to rub fenders and crash- much easier to fix. The Camaro is just something fun to wip around in on the street.
