7-piece 3/8 drive socket set on Sale at Sears...

The perfect socket set to take to the Pick-a-Part yard! Why do they even make something like this? A tool is a tool, don't turn it into a piece of jewelry or collectable.

The link isn't working. It takes you to the Sears Web site, but you get an error message regarding the item.

Is it some "NASCAR" branded kit labled "special edition"?

I agree, tools should be used but I have heard of more than one individual that actually just collects tools

Though in this case these sockets could be used to make a very nice necklace for Mr.T

The link works.

Would you work on your Ferrari with regular tools.

Now those with GTA's and gold emblems should consider this item.

I think Sears is trying to jump on Snap On's band wagon. Snap On has been making collector tools and sets for years. They even made some miniature tool boxes, but they didn't sell them for a miniature price!

I think they would be more of a collectible if they were not gold plated. Just one step closer to being a "1940s Tool"
