I hate half days off now a days.At least at my local pic a part. When ever I go on half days I pay 5$ bucks to see a bunch of junk. Then when I go after the sale is over theres all kinds of third gens out.

Yeah. I talked to one of the guys while they were having a sale, and I think they are just clearing out space for more stuff. If they are selling it half price, it's probably not worth it.

I work saturdays, so I took a ride out to the local yard, as well as the Adelanto yard this morning to see if I'd be missing out on anything good.
Lancaster rarely has much in thirdgens, and today was no different. The only thing anyone might be interested in was a teal '92 gfx Firebird(not a TA/GTA). The front was smashed, but the "Pontiac" headlight cover was good. Also, the rear taillights and center section(red bird and letters) were very good, only in need of polishing... if anyone's looking for those parts.
Adelanto, which usually has a lot of thirdgens, did today, too. There were two '91 non-gfx Firebirds, one white and one metallic blue. Both had good front and rear bumper covers. The white front had a small crack near the fender, but still very useable, though it would require a lot of prep. Whereas the front of the blue one was very good, requiring little prep. The rears were just the opposite--the white being better than the blue, both needing little prep.
Also at Adelanto, there was a pulled engine/auto tranny completely intact, but that might've been awaiting pickup by someone. It had a mechanical fan, centerbolt heads, a large TPI throttle body(so probably a 350 or larger), and an intake that resembled the Stealth Ram, but with the fuel rails up top, instead of down low. Mini Ram?
Other than those things, not much to see at those yards. Y'all have fun saturday!

One things that did suck about moving so far east was moving away from all the support, I mean yards for the Thirdgens. Looks like I might just have to make my way back to Funtucky to hit up their yard
