Everyone I I just found a engine and trans I bought the whole car 87 trans am with 350 700r but I am trying to hook it up to my Iroc withoput the vehicle speed sensor a mechanica speedometer how would I hook it up for my speedometer to to work

 

Swap the speedometer gears and housing.

 

Can I just swap the dashes and harness will the trans am dash fit in the iroc camaros

 

You could spend a few weeks gutting the car and swapping in a complete Firebird interior and wiring, or you could spend about 15 minutes changing the speedometer gears and housing.

 

F-body cars don't have a dash harness. Prior to 1990 they had an engine harness and a body harness. After 1990 or 1991, they had one harness that included the engine and the body in one. You have a choice of swapping the speedo gears and housing or you can rewire the entire car.
