Gettin mine back on the road

Need some words of wisdom, Don, this is where you chime in

Have an LO5, (already with the ecu tuned, 55# injectors, proper knock sensor, all that jazz) and burned up a valve when i overheated it this summer.. hoping to just swap on the set of L03 heads i have (if there is no piston or block damage), the LT1 cam i have, stock rockers, still TBI. just to get it running again. I have full set of gaskets (for a 350 so the head gaskets are 4" bore) I know i need a new timing chain set for an SBC too. other than that, can anyone else think of what i need so I dont run into anymore snags?

You might have to wait until next year.

If you got it hot (redundant) change the plugs & thermostat?

Find out why it got hot, and fix that for sure.

Don't forget to put black silicon on both ends of the pan gasket and make sure you don't use a Felpro pan gasket. (or you will regret it )
