I came across this stuff that blurs your lisence plates at red light cameras.
I doubt if I'd ever need anything like that since I drive like an old lady, but it's an interesting concept. I wouldn't pay $30 for it though.
The website claims you are justified in using it becasue camras at red lights are only to generate revenue instead of protect your safety, and that a lot of rear end collissions are caused by the cameras.

here in costa mesa a lawyer actually did some testing on one of the lights and found that the timing was off and fought his ticket and won. for awhile they stopped taking pictures at the intersection. these lights are
and i do agree present a danger whether its slamming on the brakes or speeding up when youre in the middle of the intersection
