I'm looking for these brackets. One goes from the back of the compressor to the exhaust manifolt, the other goe from the back of the compressor to the intake manifold. I need associated bolts for them as well.

TPI braces are different. these must be from a LO-3

 

I've found the lower bracket Seems that one is the same as a TPI brace. I still need the upper one though it looks like it would go from the back of my compressor to the intake manifold but I am not really sure does anyone know if this brace changed from 88-92? .... I looked at a TPI motor and it's upper brace doesn't look like it will work at all.

this brace needs to be from a LO-3 with serpentine setup. And I still need all the bolts associated with it.

 

Have you checked to see if it is still available from GM, and what the price is? Sometimes GM pricing is way $$$, but just as often a part will be cheap directly from GM. If it is available and cheap, it might mak more sense to just buy a new one. The other possibility is to spend a day and a few bucks going to diy junk yards to look for it. Don't forget to look in V6 cars as well. They may be the same as the Lo3.

Well I was hoping someone had it leftover from deleting their a/c system. Well guess I'm going to have to go to pick-a part this weekend for it. I figured a V-6 brace wouldn't work. As for GM rather waste time at pick a part then waste time getting frustrated at a GM dealership .... Warranty work has taught me well .......

Don't really care for that house of camaro place much. I will give the other place a try though. Didn't think this part would have been hard to find. Oh well I need it before I get my A/C working so really have no choice but to pay LOL.

When is the next thirdgen meeting thought I would come this time & maybe take my son.

 

I doubt if the brackets you want are something that anyone would keep if they did an ac delete. Unless the person doing the ac delete is a packrat, I can't see them saving a useless bracket that will just take up extra space.

The next meeting is June 9. Normally it would be June 2, but we postponed it one week to go racing at Famoso.
