VATS disable
My car has an ignition problem and I think I need a better matching PROM for the motor in order to diagnose it better. I need to disable VATS on a 350 PROM I have so I can cease running a 305 PROM for a 350 motor. If anyone can help me disable VATS, contact me with your price. Thanks.

Re: VATS disable
I disabled mine by running a wire from the stering wheel (keyswitch)to a relay to the starter selenoid and it worked. I got a 88 GTA from an inpound lot with no key so I had to bypass. As far as I know VATS only stops the starter motor.

Re: VATS disable
VATS works in two places. There is a relay for the computer, and a relay for the starter. You can disable one, but the other still works.
I dont think you'll find anyone else around here who does custom chips for the price I do, but you're welcome to look. If you find someone, let me know so we can compare notes and learn from each other.
