Re: hardtop vert roadster?

They were made by Autoform.
Camaros and Firebirds converted by them.
The headliner material was taken from the rear seats.
Fairly nice conversions.
I have a friend who has two of them, and may be selling them soon, both Trans Ams.

Re: hardtop vert roadster?

Wow... so that actually is real...

I thought the seller was just trying to make it sound fancy and all that...

But, I must say that it does look really nice, and wish i could get a few more pics!!!

Re: hardtop vert roadster?

Chris knows more about these than me, but I believe you had to buy the car and have it converted, unlike the other convs that were sent from GM directly to the converter AMG( or AMC something like that).
These were done by a boat builder, hence all the button snaps. There are other things that look more boaty than car.
IMO the amgs were better done.
