Depending on how much money you want to spend, go with a GM crate engine.

A lot more than 900.00 A zz4 crate engine 2,289.00 And that's just a short block.Want to build your own engine? Build it to your satisfaction using the durable, dependable ZZ4 short block. The 4 bolt main block is stuffed with a forged steel crankshaft, flat top pistons and PM rods. Cam, lifters, timing set and oil pump are not included.

So a Crate engine is out of the question with 900.00. You might be able to find a used L98 but that's a used 350ci.

Best bet is save your Right now money.

Good Luck
