I am trying to help out a fellow local shop that is trying, like me, to make it through these slow times. Anyways here are some numbers for powder coating in case some of you might be interested.

Powder Coating for $2/ft

Hammer Tone for $3/ft

Chassis (like for a Chevy Nova) $300

2 Seater Cage (sandrail/dune buggy/rhino) $350

5 Seater Cage (sandrail/dune buggy) $450

NOTE: Metal must be bare and clean - he currently does not have a blast cabinet, he has all the facilities to coat as he builds and coats his own lumber racks

He can also do wrinkle coating, pearls, and candies - for better quotes on those just give him a call and ask.

I was reading a new Bonspeed ad and they mention clear powder coating on their rims. No more polishing. Wish I had that on mine. Maybe next time I need tires.

 

The thick clear coating on my ROH Snypers definitely made them easier to keep clean
