L.A. Cal - Where to chrome wheels
Hi,
I'm in L.A. California, and looking for reccomendations on where I can have my 91 Z28 rims chromed. They are the stock 16" ones. Also, how much would I expect to pay for these?

Does anybody do chroming in Cali anymore? Is it even legal with all of the antipollution laws? I suspect the closest place to have chrome done in the U.S. is probably 1000miles or so East of the Cali-Az border.

There are still places in LA to get chroming done.
There is one near downtown Christian Bros or something like that.
The number one place is Lemon Grove Plating in San Diego. They did our Mustang parts and all but one was perfect and they redid the flawed one no hassle.

Try Cal Bumper in Long Beach. They have been in the same place since I was a kid and do very good chroming. They usually chrome bumpers and classic car parts but I bet they do rims if you work out something with them.

Wheel Concepts did mine. They're off the 101 just west of Thousand Oaks. www.wheelconcepts.com
