Don and I will be spectating on Saturday the 29th.

 

I'll be at the Coliseum watching the Dodgers 50th anniversary game against the Red Sox.

 

No dyno pulls that weekend.

 

Bummer, I have Nascar truck and Sprint cup tickets for that weekend.

Anyone feel like a trip to a Super Chevy later in the year, maybe Atlanta on Oct 3 & 4 and then drive the 90 miles to Talladega for the cup race on sunday the 5th.

I would recommend going directly to the show if you are in Hollywood. Don's shop is out of your way.

I'm carpooling with Don in his car to save gas. We dont enter the car show because it costs too much and our cars are daily drivers, not show cars. We just like to watch everyone else race.

 

It sure is a lot cheaper to do that... both in cost of racing and cost of gas (we can all use a little help with the cost of gas)

 

I'll be having breakfast up the hill from there at Pomona Valley Mining Co. I guess I can drop in afterward.

Tony (Xophertony) came to the shop and met up with Kevin and I, then we picked up Vince, drove to the site and met up with Lon.
The 4th gen guys didn't show at Jack n the Box.
Nice car show, saw a few 3rd gens and met a guy from AZ. that needs some work.

 

That was me! Nice meeting you and Kevin, Don. Funny how you guys stand out in a crowd. Had a good time but the ride to and from was kind of long. Again it was nice meeting some Third gen friends.

My odometer has 6 digits... it reads 199xxx... It is a 91 tho, maybe that has something to do with it

i think they got a sixth digit in 89 or 90. whenever they went vss. firebirds went vss in 86, so we got a sixth digit in 86

by the way Xophertony that 2nd pic of that car you took a pic of actually had 76k on it and he has a zz4 in it. i was talking to the guy about took him around 3 years to restore it. and it does have a 6th digit because it was a 90.

hmmm... i guess i am mixing two cars up. that zz4 belongs to the guy we met there, the one from Arizona.

 

Yes, the ZZ4 car belongs to Adrian Felix From Arizona. I put the motor in the car for him last August.
