Help needed in Riverside...
I converted my '86 Sport Coupe from carb to TPI (got a complete '86 TPI setup on Ebay). Everything is installed and the car runs but it is flat above half-throttle. I'm at a loss. No vacuum leaks, no intake leaks, no codes (I get an occasional EGR code because my EGR solenoid is bad and I can't find a replacement). New O2, TPS, IAC. From my laptop, it looks like the MAT sensor is tracking correctly so I have not replaced that, nor have I replaced the CTS (for CSI). I've installed new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, ignition module. Had the MAF sensor rebuilt and calibrated (descreened).
This is driving me nuts. I can bring the car to you if you can help me out or you can come to my place. Either way, I just need another set of eyes with more TPI experience to tell me what I've got wrong. I just know it's gonna be something stupid, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.
Thanks,
Duane
