Hey, Parrydise,

Just curious. Are you looking for the front carrier adapter brackets or the rear backing plates, and if this latter, 9- or 10-bolt?

Re: Need PBR caliper mounting brackets.

Hi, James

I guess I did a lousy job of making that clear, didn't I?

Okey dokey, I need the rear PBR caliper mounting brackets (there are two per side) for a 9-bolt. I have the backing plates, but if you have any other related parts, let me know.

How are things in Kansas and how is that 350 working out?

The two per side has me confused--sorry football and beer!

Kansas is getting cold, but the 350 tickles me every time I climbed into the car.

Re: Need PBR caliper mounting brackets.

I'm getting ready to have Dyno Don swap in a variety of parts, including a 355, so I'm looking forward to losing my 305.

There is a large, curved bracket that mounts to the backing plate, but there is another bracket (at least there was when I looked at the dealer's parts catalog) that goes on the side opposite to the curved bracket. So, two mounting brackets per side.

Does that help?

355, watch out! You'll be permanently grinnin'!

There's the backing plate (in black) and there's the caliper carrier (in red) and not much else. Check the following pics--first, the inside and second, the outside:

Re: Need PBR caliper mounting brackets.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm losing the carb and going to fuel injection (and a 5-speed and a 9-bolt, but I'm dead in the water until I get the brackets).

Okey dokey. On that first picture, the large u-shaped carrier in red is bolted to the backing plate. I need that bracket (although the dealer still has those). Now, on the bottom of the caliper (opposite the red bracket) is a black piece. I can't see it too well, but either that piece, or something close to it is another mounting bracket.

I'll do a search to see if I can find something else that depicts the other bracket.

Thanks for taking so much time on this.

Bracket for mounting the e-brake cable (and note the spring):

I suggest that Ed Miller might be able to hook you up with the 'small' parts.

Re: Need PBR caliper mounting brackets.

I completely forgot about Ed.

Thanks, James, I really appreciate your help.

While doing a search I saw a picture of your Camaro. Great looking car.
