California Changes Fuel Standards

The morons who run California are at it again. They have passed a law that cuts gasoline carbon by 10%. This will raise the price of gas once again. We just had a tax increase with another one in sight. There is no end to the idiocy in the state. Please don't vote these nuts back into office. Here is the link to story.

Re: California Changes Fuel Standards

Thats just the beginning.
Once they approved the carbon footprint bill everything you do or touch will be taxed now.
And the Feds are considering the same BS this very day. Good ole Al Gore was banging his GW drum on his way to becoming a billionaire off this BS.

Its time we eliminated these **** government agencies that do whatever they want. MTBE is a prime example of people with zero knowledge of the products passing laws.
All they want is the taxes they can raise from this BS. Its amazing how they only listen to the scientists that promote this man made climate change (yeah 3rd name for it) the same scientists that stand to profit from it and ignore the same number of scientists that call it Natural climate change.
Kinda like traffic tickets, only do what enhances revenue, ignore the facts.

Re: California Changes Fuel Standards

that is bizarre. Calif. has gone off the deep end. I miss So-Cal weather but everything else I have no use for. Our gas octane rating out here has gone up! Its up to 94 octane for premium unleaded @ 2.05 a gal. Is this happening anywhere else? I dont blame people for leaving Calif. It may be more politically sane and the cost of living better else where, but the economy is just as bad.
