I have received two text messages "Your Farmers and Merchants debit card has been deactivated to reactivate call this number 877.........." where they ask enough questions to empty your account.

Farmers and Merchants is a small bank in So Cal and since I dont have any dealings with them I called F&M bank per their number in the phone book.
This is a scam and some have been burned the FBI is involved. The second message had a different phone number to call.
If you get a message like this call Farmers and Merchants and give them the texted phone number.
