Does he have antifreeze in the cooling system? Let it sit to allow the water to separate from the oil and then drain the water ff the bottom of the sump to see how much you have. If he has antifreeze in the cooling system and any sort of leak between the cooling system and the sump, the water will come out the color of antifreeze. If he has antifreeze in the cooling system, but gets clear water out of the sump, it isn't coolant. Does he pressure wash his engine? If an engine is pressure washed, particularly the left side valve cover, he may be getting water in past the oil fill cap.

(people in my surroundings only speak spanish LOL) his motor looks like he had blown a radiator hose BAD most of his engine looks orange like rusted water BUT OOLD!
ill keep posted

You can't tell what it is without a tear down. The sump is another name for the oil pan. Water will separate out of the oil when it sits for a while and if it has antifreeze in it, the anti freeze will color the water. If you drain the water off the bottom of the pan, it will be antifreeze colored if it came from the cooling system. Anyplace that you have water passages and oil passeges separated by a gasket or metal is a potential spot for a leak. Some of those places off the top of my head are the intake manifold gasket (base gasket on tpi), head gasket, cylinder heads, block, there are also water passages in the base of the throttle body on tpi engines. I bypassed mine because they are prone to corrosion, but I'm not sure that water entering the intake would get past the piston. It would probably just go out the exhaust as steam.

Re: strange issue and need help

I would say it's probably the intake manifold gaskets leaking coolant internally. Just my

The intake manifold gasket is one place I know of where you will get water in the oil, buit no oil in the water. There is no oil under pressure near the intake manifold, but water leaking past the gaskets will go into the lifter galley and go to the pan around the push rod holes.

Mine leaked from the intake gasket. Seems to be a common problem. I was able to replace mine in one afternoon. Drain the oil, used an engine flush, changed the oil ran it for a while and changed the oil again.
