The GForce stuff made them take all the abuse you could throw at em.
Though a bad driver can mess up anything.

Threads on here done long ago had guy with stock 305s blowing regular T5s daily, while others with built 400 with several race seasons and no problems.

Dont bother. The top two bolts on Vincent's case were off by at least a quarter-inch, in different directions. Don had to take a grinder and enlarge the holes so the case would bolt to the bellhousing.
