I've been looking here and other forums and also calling auto wreckers and parts recyclers and haven't found any good deals. My LO3 is crapping out @ 232,559 original miles (never rebuilt: just seals) its knocking on me. I'm Looking for a genIII or genIV motor. LS1 or LS2 please if there are any leads, send em my way.

I just came from meeting w/Gene&Slick over at there new shop Gene Jones racing & Pro Street Terrorist! man those guys know what there doing they have got some serious stuff in that shop! They are hooking me up w/my engine Im gonna go all out on this build.

Kev the only motor I have is the blown uP POS I have over at Gene & Slicks! they said nothing was re-usable! do you want to put a sbc in it? or another v-6?

 

There are a handful of LSx motors on CL saw them the other day priced fairly.

i want a good gas mileage car though i drive 30 miles to work everyday and my 3.1 V6 was nice i got like 26mpg. heard ls1's get 30!

oh no i found some random craigslist post and just crossed my fingers and called. a tiny wrecking yard in carson, ca near the LA Habor is where i got it just 2 guys run it. one guy buys the cars and sells the parts the other dismantles

I have a 630 hp 355 in my garage, all forged crank, eagle rods, je pistons, 4 bolt main, comp solid roller cam with 278/284 at .050 power band is 4500 to 8,000+. just short block-2,500.
I also have other sbc's in different stages, 350 4 bolt bare 100, 2 400 sbc bare 500 each, 1 400 sbc complete short block 600.
