I turn the car on and if i rev it, it revs smooth no pops no missfire...but it does not stay on...if i get it to stay on its cool etc. But when i turn it off n sits for a few hours or till the next day, it does it again turns on smooth but dies...

I'm thinking fuel, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, maybe even injectors. Or maybe this; https://www.thirdgen.org/open-loop-closed-loop

Re: need a tip

How long does the engine run before it dies? I'd monitor the fuel pressure, then check all the basics, just like a tuneup, plus verify the sensors are calibrated correctly.

Re: need a tip

Well it dies as soon as i turn it on but if i give it gas it will stay on of course...but i am going to check out the fuel pressure and the sensors are calibrated...im kinda leaning towards taking it to a tpi tech..we've been pm'img(if that's a word lol) and i think ima go that way im getting tired of the guessing game..
