I found a totalled 02 ss ls1/m6 that the owner wants to get rid of. The body is trash and the interior is all gone except for the dash, column, pedals etc. The car has either 16k or 60k (dont remember) a couple of the wheels are gone and im assuming the spindle and rear axle are no good. Now my question is..... what would be a good price to offer?

id scoop it up..

 

A complete low mile LS1/T56 is worth $3-4k easily. $2k is a hell of a deal!!! You can even start a thread on LS1tech with salvageable parts(dash, gauge cluster, seats, etc.) and recoup some cash.

Of course I would bargain with him and offer $1600 and let him work me to $1800...
