Black irocs on bird

Im not great at photoshop but this is basically what i want my car to look like.
possibly diff red paint but you get the picture. its a small rendering just to see how people like the idea. So with that let me know what you guys think of my image of my future car.
i just want to get some input from my community before i spend the money on coating some irocs, and also get more input from the rest of the forum.

Black irocs tried my best for 18's and making them black and lowering haha
first time using photoshop so its kinda crappy.
just found pics on the web and put emm together.

Thanks for the input
-Aaron

Re: Black irocs on bird

iroc rims on a bird looks dumb i just doesnt have a good flow to it i would at least stick to the high tech turbo or the cross laced rims , they are just not a good match especialy in the valle you got to have style to match

Re: Black irocs on bird

hate it when birds have iroc rims, its just not right; best rims for the firebird are these in my opinion, except black not gold:

Re: Black irocs on bird

Yea that is true about the crosslaces. id love to get my hands on some one day but what i really dont see is how irocs looks "bad" or not right on birds. i mean camaros and firebirds have the same body features with the exception of the fron clip hood and rear clip, not to mention the ground effect. but other than that its the exact same body. if they look soo good on a camaro i dont see how they can look bad on a bird. ive seen many around around where i live and i think it looks alright. i know when people think iroc they think camaro and not firebird but idk. i just mean i dont see the harm in putting some on except for the fact they super played out like torq thrusts.

Re: Black irocs on bird

The camaro has simple lines. the irocs are simple lines.

the firebird is more bold and has many more lines to keep track of, same goes with the rims it has. imo they dont mix.

thats the only way i can explain it aside from the typical "its not stock and doesnt look right".

Re: Black irocs on bird

its like puting a firebird front clip on a camaro the body line features dont mix i have seen it and that it should have only stayed as a thought it looks wrong every car has its own body flow and sometimes its better to leave it how they are and i know cross lance rims are hard to come by but keep a look out i got lucky and bought mine in sherman oaks in some rich guys house and yes the iroc-z rims are so played out when ever i see an s-10 or blazer or any other car i literally tell the person wow thats a bad *** camaro i didnt know they made these body style ones i do it to make them look stupid and its played out lol

Re: Black irocs on bird

IMHO.....ANY solid black wheel without the polished lip just looks like spare wheels. Polish the lip & at least they won't look like the car is on a set of spares.

Re: Black irocs on bird

Yea true. well to me its not a big deal. i can do with any set of wheels as im not picky about body lines and flow as long as the rim isnt too much to look at. color wise im the same way but i dont know thats just me. i cant say something is beautiful just cuz everything flows well. i guess everyone has their own way of seeing a car. personally i dont judge on expensive parts or fancy paint. but thats just me.

Re: Black irocs on bird

its not just that its "not cool" - especially coming from an enthusiasts POV - its disrespectful in the way of not allowing another camaro to be stock/original.

Re: Black irocs on bird

yea true but i dont see why other could tell people what they did "wrong" on their car. yea some people like stock and other like mods, but who are others to tell me what i like is not right? to me an enthusiast is someone who appreciates cars for what they are, stock or not. plus i dont think its nice to keep a car as stock as possible. nothing says love than making something your own right?

Re: Black irocs on bird

yeah you can make it your onw thing but its not because of that im going to put enemy cobra rims on my t/a there are certain mods that make it look good and certain mods that just dont go nomater who you are if you are going to do things like that you dont deserve these cars i bleed and sleep talk about these cars like no other i will even die for my car if it came to that point sometimes it hurts me to see other peoples ideas a reality on some cars that i would like to buy it off them because i dont know what they are thinking my cuz would also agree on this 100%

Re: Black irocs on bird

i get what you mean. sometimes i feel the same way but on extremely stupid ideas and stuff. i guess im just not on that level to appreciate the small little things that older enthusiasts see in automobiles

Re: Black irocs on bird

I just bought a set of iroc rims for mi bird, I love the look of iroc rims, and I think they will look awesome on it. I've been the owner of a V6 89' firebird for more than 13 years, I have it since high school and I have always wanted iroc single stripe rims
