Calendars for 2003?

I brought this up to some of the guys at our "non-meeting" at Valencia Chevrolet.
I checked at Office Max about a custom calendar promotion they are running. They are offering a custom calendar for $19.95 for a limited time. I found out however that the special is that they are offering to do 1 calendar for the price they usually charge for 5 or more. I spoke with the manager of the desk top publishing dept. and she said that if we had 25 orders she might be able to give us a little bit better price.
I think it is too late at this time to put anything together, but if you guys are interested, I'm willing to look into it in July or August for 2003. We would need to provide 13 pictures for a one year calendar.

Russ, the only problem I foresee is that everyone will want a picture of his or her F-Body in the calendar. So this leaves us with 13 people that want the calendar. Oh, sure, there may be a few that would want a calendar of nice looking ThirdGen’s and don't care if theirs is among them. Is there any possibility of rotating in some other cars, or are we limited to the same 13 pictures for ALL in that order? Oh, my picture would have to represent a warm weather month. 8^)

I'm thinking that if there is enough interest we could plan to do one every year, and rotate the cars. I would like to get a Third Gen calendar every year. Right now, each year I pick up a Camaro calendar that I've found at a kiosk specializing in calendars at Lakewood Center that opens for 3-4 months in the fall every year. That is the only place I've seen Camaro calendars, and the one I get usually has an equal division of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th gens. If we are satisfied with the $19.95 price, and don't need to put together a purchase of 25-30 calendars to get a lower price, we could probably get everyone who wanted their car in the calendar by doing 5 different calendars. As far as "sunny" months go, I figured to use the best pictures of the various cars we could get. After all, it never rains in California.

Or how about events we have attended, like cruises (show scenic view in the back ground of a lush assortment of So-Cal 3rd gens) or Racing events (pictorials of Nick S. carving down turn 7 at Buttonwillow raceway during a CMC event, Kevin L. getting his doors blow off by Cullan H. at LACR. ) and the like ... That way we can include all the cars or visiting out-of-state members.
