Does anyone know how to install a '99 LS1 with L460E tranny into an '89 IROC Conv?
Do the motor mounts need to be moved? I have a company sending motor mount adapters which allow the LS1 mounts to bolt to the existing '89 motor mounts.
I'm also not sure about the electronics such as the coded igition key. I received all the wiring, computer, mass air flow sensor.
HELP!

How much experience do you have? This is a HUGE project. Its not something anyone can walk you thru over the internet.

You ain't kidding Kevin. Sounds like Bruce has a Demon on his hands.
Bruce, you'rr gonna need to do some wiring and you're gonna need to hack the code. You can turn the VATS off and not have to worry about the anti theft keyed ignition. Beyond that, you got alot of work to do. Not that it can't be but it takes experience and/or time to take this one to the end and have a nicely finished job.

Thanks. I realize the mamoth project that lies ahead, but it will be worth it. I've posted the same request under the Motor Swap section.
