You all missed it. We had the best texas burgers could see
, I mean eat
. As for the junkyard I know George Scala got a digital dash from a Trans Am. I would like to thank everyone for saturday I had a great time, Lon, George Lara and his Dad and specially George and Lisa I love your collection. I'll have to come back someday and see the rest. George do you ever get hassled by the sheriff. As soon as I left your house I got pulled over for having a "FLOWMASTER"
and he informed me that they were NOT street legal, and it was a $500 fine. He told me that he was going to cut me a break because I had a commercial drivers lic. but that I should take it off as soon as I could.

George got a 1LE aluminum spare. I found a nice 82-89 console trim. It has good soft rubber surrounding the emergency brake slot. This is a discontinued item. I picked up a manual latch for the hatch. I also got a set of front & rear seat belt receivers. The rears looked brand new. Also got a rear trim piece with storage compartment. I'll have a spare for the time mine eventually breaks at the plastic hinge. The atmosphere at the restaurant was a bit lacking compared to my prior time there. ;(

Hi guys!
I'm glad you all had fun!
George Lara picked up fuel lines for a TPI car (I guess he will put them in his conversion, the Z-28). You guys were luckly! The Pontiacs were on the other end of the yard! I also picked up an '86 Trans Am dash glove box(map pocket)! The spare was cool! The 20th TTA has the RPO code, but they all come with the steel spare! So if I use it, it won't be stock?! I don't know if the digital dash has everything working, but I know that they're cool! And it will go in my catalog! I picked up some spare battery holddowns too! Most people don't even have them!
There was a TPI intake with runners there (I think for '85), but I was tapped out with what I picked out! I had to save money for the lunch! Hey George, when is your dad going back there! I'll meet him there! Ha! I know that he liked it there as well as everybody else! Hey Lon, next time get the seats on the other side! HeHe! We'll put Lisa on that side!
Raul, glad you like the tour at my house! Now you know why I only drive my '59 Chevy pickup (the beast) or Lisa's '91 Bird! Luckily, the 20th TTA is only a six cylinder (even though it has a flowmaster)! Those 8's with flowmasters are pretty loud! I'm glad you were only given a warning! Although it was only a short drive to bail you out (the station is just right up the street-Narbonne)! Just don't tell them that your friend is the longhair with all the Trans Ams! Then, you're really in trouble!
Everybody else, just say when for the next one! Or when you guys are hungry for alittle food (with a view)! Now you know why I make it there at least once a week!
It was great to have you all over! Let's plan another! Just think, we only hit one yard! There's two more yards right there!
Have a good one,
George
