1982 Camaro
I Just found a 1982 Camaro on craigslist for a decent price but the 305 the car comes with is blown. Interior seems to be redone and the paint is in pretty good shape from the pictures i have seen . since the 305 is blown i dont think i should back track and put another 305. im thinking 355 or a cammed 350.

Yes, And you came to the right place, first off you need to change the double needle 85mph speedo out for one that goes to 145mph or if you choose to go with custom gauges thats what most kids do today like this http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k1...a/SD530129.jpg
But at least the speedo and tach from a newer TPI Camaro. Now that 350 first get some heads, camshaft, lifters, eagle crank, and exhaust.

Re: 1982 Camaro
Get it for the right price and put an LT1 in it. Stalled auto if you want to race 1/4 mile. They are cheap nowadays. I was able to get a nose ahead of my friend's LSX M6 4th gen, and that was stock motor. Not even headers. Of course everyone's results may vary but its good bang for the buck engine. My swap was easy though because my car was previously TPI, you may run into a few more hiccups since you're an 82 but nothing big. May just need fuel lines and such from fuel injected cars from the junkyard. Just an idea. The interior and exterior make it a good donor car, judging from the photos.
