Car show in O.C.?

My first service call today was at Carl's Jr yard in Anaheim. I took the 57 freeway south from City of Industry to the 91, but got off and took Orangethorpe because of the traffic on the 91. As I pulled up to make the left turn at Lemon, threr was a 35th anniversary edition IROC conv. just in front of a new Mustang at the light. Both had on mfg license plates. I wouldn't have been surprised to see that near the L.A. convention center, but it surprised me to see them in Orange County.

Uhm... a 35th Anniversary IROC? Was that a Camaro or a Firebird? IROC uses the Firebird Trans Ams now, but the IROC was associated with the Camaro name from 85-90. Perhaps you meant a 35th Anniversary Camaro Z28?

Yeah Kevin, that's it. Chevy has interchanged the name from z28 to IROC and back to z28 so much that I don't know one from another anymore. At any rate it was the 2002 red one with the funny looking stripes that morf into a checkerboard pattern.

LA Auto show is sometime soon (like it might be starting this weekend). Theres usually one in Anaheim at the convention center or stadium, but I never go there so I am not positive when that one is.

Yeah, the LA auto show starts Saturday, but Fullerton seemed kind of far away to find two cars at the same light with mfg plates.

I think when G.M. does a special edition they they do one or at most two colors. If the special edition includes a graphics package, I think it is only one.
